SUMMARY:Policy Hearing - Water\, Sewer\, & Stormwater Infrastructure
DESCRIPTION:On October 25th\, Senators Muth\, Lindsey Williams\, and Collett will hold a hearing on addressing the increasing challenges stormwater issues cause our communities. Last year\, legislation was adopted as part of the budget and allocated $320 Million in new water\, sewer\, and stormwater grant funding through American Rescue Plan Act funds. Despite this progress\, the overwhelming demand for these funds highlights a stark need for a more robust investment – nearly five times the initial funding – to adequately address Pennsylvania’s water\, sewer\, and stormwater concerns.
