This month, my office is partnering with the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard in Ambler to collect food items for our neighbors. Household costs can be high during the winter months, and families struggle to make ends meet. Please join us in collecting items from the cupboard’s February wish list below. Donations can be dropped off at my district offices Monday through Friday between 9am and 4:30pm.

Delaware Valley University is a leader in agricultural and environmental science. On April 7th, 2022, Senators Muth, Cappelletti, Schwank, Collett, Hughes, and Santarsiero will host a hearing on the movement against sexual assault on college campus and the Governor's It's On Us package of bills designed to address this issue.

The It’s On Us campaign is a national initiative started by the Obama Administration to raise awareness about sexual assault; teaching participants that assault includes non-consensual sex, advising them on how to identify dangerous situations, empowering them to intervene, and urging them to create an environment of support for victims and survivors.

Are You Having Ida-Related Insurance Issues? 

This Thursday, May 5 at 6pm, I am cohosting a meeting with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and Representatives Stephens and Sanchez for interested community members who suffered property damage during the 2021 tornado that struck Horsham and Upper Dublin. Many families are still struggling to restore their lives and continue to have trouble with their insurance claims.

The meeting will take place at Maple Glen Elementary School, 1581 Fort Washington Ave. in Maple Glen.

There will be a briefing by the Insurance Department on trends which have emerged from complaints made by residents over the last 7 months. If you would like to file a formal complaint but have not already done so, compete the form and bring it along with you to the meeting.
