Virtual PA, United StatesThe office of Senator Collett and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency invites parents and students to an overview of the 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) process. This free, virtual webinar will guide students and families through a step-by-step process of filing the FAFSA and PA State Grant application beginning with the 2024-25 academic year. The webinar is open to all ages and grades. The presentation is from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM with the additional time for a Q&A session.

Summer Food Drive
Fort Washington District Office 1035 Virginia Drive, Suite 201, Fort Washington, PA, United StatesSenator Collett is hosting a donation drive collecting nonperishable food items to support 12th District neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Now through August 29, you can drop off items for the drive at her Fort Washington office Mondays-Thursdays, 8:30AM-5:15PM. All donations will benefit Family Promise of Montgomery County. Policy Hearing: The Harms of Forever Chemicals
Warminster Township Building 01 Gibson Ave #1, Warminster, United StatesOn September 6th, Senator Muth along with Senator Maria Collett Representatives Greg Scott and Brian Munroe will hold a Joint Policy Committee Hearing on legislation to ban the intentional use of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in all industrial applications with an exclusion for essential uses as defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Scientific studies have shown that exposure to certain levels of PFAS may lead to reproductive effects in pregnant women, developmental effects or delays in children, and interference with the body’s natural hormones, among other health risks.
