Fort Washington, PA − October 7, 2026 − Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery, Caucus Chair) has announced $1,326,800 for local projects awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program.
“Investing in our parks strengthens our communities and makes good economic sense for Pennsylvania,” said Senator Collett. “I’m proud to have played a role in ensuring so many worthy projects in our district received funding, and I will continue to support efforts to protect and develop our natural resources for future generations.”
Grant recipients serving the 12th District include:
- Lansdale Borough – $238,500 for York and Susquehanna Park.
- Lower Moreland Township – $250,000 for Lower Moreland Township Park.
- Montgomery Township – $162,400 for Autumn Woods Park.
- Pennsylvania Horticultural Society – $150,000 for Urban and Community Forestry – Southeastern Pennsylvania.
- Stroud Water Research Center, Inc – $249,900 for Riparian Forest Buffer – Schuylkill Highlands.
- Upper Dublin Township – $35,000 for the Twining Valley Park Master Site Development Plan.
- Upper Dublin Township – $166,000 for Sunny Willow Trail – Twining Valley Park Connection.
- Worcester Township – $75,000 for the Comp Rec., Park, Open Space and Greenway Plan.
