North Wales, Pa. – 4월 16, 2021 — Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery/Bucks) has announced $1.24 million in PennDOT multimodal grant funding for the reconstruction of the Sumneytown Pike Bridge over Wissahickon Creek in Upper Gwynedd Township.
“This grant will allow Upper Gwynedd Township to improve local infrastructure, protect the safety of our roadways, and bring new jobs to our district as the economy continues to recover from this pandemic,” said Senator Collett. “I’m proud to advocate for projects like these to ensure our communities remain great places to live, work, and play.”
Act 89 of 2013 created a new organization within PennDOT designed to focus on efficiency, capital investments, safety and mobility in multimodal transportation, and established a Multimodal Transportation Fund to advance these priorities.
