Montgomeryville, Pa. − 5월 22, 2025 − Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) welcomed hundreds of community members to her annual Senior Expo on 금요일, 5월 16 at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center.
“Every Pennsylvanian deserves access to the tools they need to live and age with dignity,” said Senator Collett, Democratic Chair of the Senate Aging & Youth Committee. “I was thrilled to see so many neighbors come out to our expo to take advantage of the resources available to them – from free health screenings to benefits assistance, social programming and beyond.”
This year’s expo featured more than 55 local and statewide vendors — including nonprofit organizations, local legislative offices, insurance groups, healthcare providers, and more — who offered attendees a diverse selection of resources, tools, and services.
Attendees enjoyed refreshments donated by the 7-eleven at 791 Horsham Road in North Wales and the Wawa Community Giving Program, and received free COVID-19, RSV, Shingles, and Pneumonia vaccinations administered by Eric’s RX Shoppe.
“I’m grateful to our incredible vendors and hosts at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center for their partnership in supporting aging adults across our community,” Senator Collett added. “I look forward to continuing to advocate for aging Pennsylvanians and their priorities as I return to Harrisburg in 6월.”
