Fastnachts are diamond-shaped, donut-like pastries originally made by the Pennsylvania Dutch to use up all of their sugar and fat before the Lenten season began. 화요일, 2월 25 is Fastnacht Day (also Fat 화요일), and bakeries around our district are offering these delicious treats. Make sure to pre-order this week if you plan to purchase a dozen or more!
